General Area

Sengwa Research Area is 90 000 acres of one of Zimbabwe’s best known hunting concessions. Located in north-central Zimbabwe exactly half way between Harare and Victoria Falls, Sengwa offers traditional big game hunting of the highest order. With rolling plateaus, riverine floodplains, mopane woodland, jesse bush and sandveld forests, Sengwa is naturally home to a wide and diverse spectrum of wildlife from the diminutive Sharpe’s grysbok to the African elephant.

Large resident populations of buffalo, elephant and plains game make this area one the best hunting blocks in Southern Africa.

The lack of tsetse fly and relatively high elevation, makes this area a unique big game destination.
